What laptop will I need for Adobe Photoshop/ graphic design packages?

What hardware specifications will I need for the Adobe creative Suite package? I want to get into graphic design and am planning to teach myself how to use photoshop, illustrator, flash, acrobat etc, but first I need to buy a laptop.

I recommend a laptop with at least 2 hard drives (one to use as a scratch disk) and a system that uses an NVIDIA graphics card. Adobe Photoshop utilizes CUDA technology which uses cores from your graphics card to render things faster. This helps a lot when applying complex filters or when working with multiple layers. Other than that you may consider a tablet and pen for drawing since laptops generally are difficult to draw with. I like the BAMBOO tablets for this. I think Waycom makes them.
