Do you think they should increase the amount of teams in the SPL?

Or would it be too much of a financial risk to the smaller clubs who need to play the old firm regularly to get the gate money to survive. If it was increased to 14 or 16 teams surely other teams would get more of challenge as they’d play the stronger old firm teams less….I don’t think it’d work…what do reckon you gadges?

You could have 60 teams in the SPL, but i guarantee that the two clubs at the top by the close season would be the old firms.

Maybe it’s those who should break away, that would make the league more competitive, although having said all that, i do like watching the old firm derbies.
The idea of the old firms joining the championship league as been banded about for years, with a view of progressing upto the premiership, i personally would like to play them in the premiership, it would make a nice change to travel up to scotland a few times a year for the away fixtures, couple that with the scottish loyal, and the atmosphere would be electric.
